Medzi neskratkovými slovami ktoré pribudli sú napríklad "heart" ako sloveso (I heart cakes je už spisovná veta), ale aj "headline" a "car crash"... To tam doteraz akože neboli?
Slová pribudli primárne kvôli dlhodobému používaniu ľudí a tomu, že im rozumela väčšina národa. Konkrétne, prvé zmienky o slove OMG sú z osobného listu z roku 1917, FYI z roku 1941, aj keď prvé zmienky o slove LOL boli až z roku 1960, kedy ešte znamenala "little old lady." Na prekvapenie, slovo "wassup" sa do slovníku znovu nedostalo a nikto nevie prečo...
